I grew up right here in Jacksonville, as a proud graduate of Stanton College Preparatory School. After graduating tin the top 10% of my class, I went on to attend Florida State University at no cost, thanks to Bright Futures and Merit Scholarships.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Relations, and a certificate in a Leadership Studies. My time at in Tallahassee was marked by community service, leadership development, and academic excellence. By the time I graduated, I volunteered over 200 hours and held many leadership positions on campus, including:

• Student Foundation Board of Trustees, Vice President of Public Relations

• Service Leadership Seminar Co-Coordinator

• SGA’s Diversity and Inclusion Institute Director

• Phi Kappa Phi Student Vice President

• 2018 Orientation Leader

The Office of National Fellowships also played a key role in my experience, preparing me for even more competitive fellowships and scholarships. By the time I graduated, I had become a:

• Gilman Scholar, funding a summer nonprofit internship in Lobitos, Peru (2018).

• Truman Scholarship Nominee, one of 5 for the university (2019).

• Gubernatorial Fellowship Finalist (2020).

• Social Science Scholar, securing a 5k research grant for my honors thesis (2018-2019).

None of that happened based on GPA alone, it happened because I learned to tell my story — clearly, confidently, and authentically. Those are the skills I teach.
